Lafayette Hill, PA – (10/21/2009) – Chestnut Hill College joined the University of the Sciences (USIP) and host, Philadelphia University, this afternoon for a round at the Ace Club. The Rams won the outing with a team score of 346; freshman Ryan O’Donnell (Newtown Square, Pa.) led them with a score of 82. Streeper Leads Griffins at Swarthmore Fall Invitational
Wilmington, DE – (10/19/2009) – Amongst a host of local schools, the Chestnut Hill College golf team competed this afternoon in the Swarthmore Fall Invitational at the Rock Manor Country Club in Wilmington, Delaware. Freshman Tim Streeper turned in the low score for Chestnut Hill College with a round of 93 on the par 71 course. The Griffins placed 13th out of 13 teams with a team score of 411. Freshman Josh Feldschneider (Delran, N.J.) of Rutgers Camden led all participants with a 71; Rutgers Camden won the invitational with a team score of 312. More...
Griffin Golfers Lose Match with Devils
Philadelphia, PA – (10/6/2009) – In a dual match at Island Green Country Club, the Chestnut Hill College golf team faced-off against the University of the Sciences this afternoon. Junior Scott Cahayla (Ringwood, N.J.) led all participants with a 76, finishing four above par for the Devils. Chestnut Hill College was led by freshman Tim Streeper, who completed the 6,790-yard course with an 81. The University of the Sciences (USIP) defeated the Griffins by 26 strokes; 330-356. More...
Griffins Place Eight on CACC Spring All-Academic Teams
Philadelphia, PA - (6/12/09) – Released Thursday, June 11, eight student-athletes represented Chestnut Hill College on the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) 2009 All-Academic Teams. The 13 member schools combined to place 75 student-athletes on this spring’s all-academic rosters. Chestnut Hill College has had 15 student-athletes achieve CACC All-Academic status this year, including two athletes who earned recognition on both the fall and spring releases. Three Griffins were among the 20 selections who have accumulated at least two seasons on the CACC All-Academic Teams. More...
