The Chestnut Hill College Alumni Association is dedicated to one overarching mission: strengthening the relationship between the College and the graduates of all three of its schools. Our former students are an absolutely vital part of our culture. And for all of them, Chestnut Hill College remains their home.
With this in mind, the Alumni Association maintains a spirit of engagement between the College and its alumni in three primary ways: promoting the interests of Chestnut Hill College, maintaining a spirit of fellowship and service among its former students, and committing financial support to the College
When you entered the College on your first day, you began your lifelong relationship with one another and with the College. We hope you enjoy many opportunities to get involved, stay in touch, and become an active Griffin in this ongoing association with your alma mater.
The Alumni Association
The Chestnut Hill College Alumni Association, renamed in September 2007 from the Alumnae & Alumni Association, was founded in 1929 by Eleanore Dolan Egan ’28, a member of the first graduating class of what was then Mount Saint Joseph College, a college for women.
Although the name of the organization of graduates has changed, this Association’s mission has not.
As stated in Article II of its Bylaws, the Chestnut Hill College Alumni Association is dedicated to strengthening the relationship among the graduates of all three schools, and between the College and its graduates by:
- Promoting the interests of Chestnut Hill College
- Maintaining among its former students a spirit of fellowship and service
- Rendering financial support to the College
Anyone who has earned a degree from Chestnut Hill College is eligible for membership in our non-dues- paying Alumni Association. Also, any formerly matriculated non-graduate who completed 30 credits at CHC is also eligible for membership.
