Math Placement Testing
What you need to know:
All students new to CHC must take the Math Placement Test. The Test is a standardized test developed by College Board. It measures your understanding of basic Arithmetic and beginning Algebra concepts and skills.
The placement results are on your myCHC.edu account and given in four levels: Level 1&2 qualify you to register in classes required for your major. Level 3&4 indicate that you need one or more remedial Math classes, prior to those required by your major.
To prepare, review the worksheets and a list of skills shown below in the Resources area. Some tutoring is available prior to the testing.
