Students Receive Awards at PBL Leadership Conference

PHILADELPHIA, PA– Chestnut Hill College students received individual and team awards while participating in the Phi Beta Lambda Leadership Conference, competing against 640 students from 29 colleges and universities across Pennsylvania to earn the honor. The following students received awards during the competition held April 1-2 in Harrisburg, Pa.:
Business Law –sophomore Robert O’Hara, 1st place
Management and Decision Making – senior Deborah Monsey, senior Max Kaplan, senior Leslie Zemnick, 3rd place
“The chance to work with these students one on one exemplifies the holistic education that is the core understanding of our mission at this institution,” says Garry Flower, associate professor of business and advisor to the club. “I am so proud of the work our team accomplished and look forward to the future.”
Phi Beta Lambda, the collegiate chapter of Future Business Leaders of America, is the largest student business leadership organization in the country.
